Kristen Stewart To Make Directorial Debut With ‘The Chronology Of Water’
Kristen Stewart is also working on her directorial debut. Since 2018, she’s been attached to Lidia Yuknavitch‘s memoir, ‘The Chronology Of Water.’ Australian actress Imogene Poots has been cast as the lead, with Ridley Scott on board as a producer. While she’s passionate about the project, there are hierarchical aspects of filmmaking Kristen Stewart is still wrestling with.
The first-time director recently made a breakthrough with the project. The Oscar-nominated actress confirmed that pre-production on the film has been ‘in process’ since March 2022, saying, “I talked to someone with a lot of money two days ago, and she seemed excited about the prospect, but I want it to be small. I think the best version of it really is. The freezing water that I’m going to throw this girl into, I already feel terrible. It’s such a huge ask to invite someone onto this particular thing.”
