TMZ has recently released footage on Thursday where Mike Tyson is seen attacking a fellow passenger. The incident is on a Wednesday night flight. An eye-witness shared with TMZ the happenings of the incident. Tyson was onboard a Florida-bound plane from San Francisco. It was during this flight that he gets into a fight with a fellow passenger.
Prior to the incident, the former heavyweight champion even posed for a selfie with the same passenger. One can see the passenger behind Tyson’s seat continuously badgering Mike. However, things worsen when Tyson gets angry with this passenger and Mike hits him from over his seat. Police have detained two people who are thought to be involved in the incident. In SFPD’s statement, one person is undergoing treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Why Did Mike Tyson Beat This Boy?
This fellow passenger according to sources was highly drunk, and he continuously indulged in provoking Mike. As a result, Tyson punched the man several times. Just after the incident, Tyson started to walk off the plane. At present, the passenger who has a bloody forehead in the video is undergoing treatment. From behind the camera, the passenger who was filming the incident mentions that Tyson is beating his son. The injured passenger then reported the incident to the authorities. According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers reported to the place of the incident in response to a physical altercation onboard. The entire thing occurred at the Domestic Terminal of the San Francisco International Airport on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at approximately 10:06 p.m. (SFPD).
Tyson’s New Stint As A Public Persona
Tyson is a well-known boxer but now he is also working on his public presence. Mike had recently shared his love of marijuana. Tyson is launching a cannabis company with wrestling legend Ric Flair. This flight incident comes just weeks after Tyson’s recent confrontation with another overzealous fan at a comedy club. At this club, the former boxer tries very hard to maintain his calm and even hugs the fan. Mike knew that this fan was carrying arms with him. Tyson earlier was in prison in 1992 after a rape conviction and received a six years prison sentence for this case. But, he was later released after serving less than three years.
