George R.R. Martin took to his social media to give a shout-out to the 2022 Netflix show. He’s also announced upcoming ‘Game Of Thrones‘ projects, finally giving us another reason to cheer for and hold us off until the next season of ‘House Of The Dragon’ drops.

George R.R. Martin Goes Gaga Over ‘Blue Eyed Samurai’
George R.R. Martin was moved by Netflix’s hit anime ‘Blue Eyed Samurai.’ The author behind the ‘A Song Of Fire And Ice’ saga hasn’t stopped talking about it. So much so that he took the time to write a passionate blog post about the show and praised the show’s “colorful, complex, and real” character. For him, the show is the “most gorgeous art.”
Created by Amber Noizumi and Michael Green, ‘Blue Eyed Samurai’ follows Mizu, a half-white half-Japanese Onna-musha Mizu, on her quests for vengeance. The voice cast includes Maya Erskine, George Takei, Masi Oka, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Brenda Song, Darren Barnet, Randall Park, and Kenneth Branagh.

George R.R. Martin Announces New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Projects
Watching ‘Blue Eyed Samurai’ proved to be the ultimate creative stimulant for George R.R. Martin. The author has announced the ‘Game Of Thrones’ projects currently in the pipeline. Over the years, numerous ‘Game of Thrones‘ spinoff projects has been reported on, from the ‘Flea Bottom‘ to the ‘10,000 Ships‘ series. But it looks like the projects have now gone the route of animation.
George R.R. Martin revealed that he and HBO have a couple of animation series “set in the world of A Song Of Ice & Fire.’ In addition, there will be another animation project titled ‘Nine Voyages.’ It’s going to be the story of the legendary voyages of the Sea Snake. But because of experiences in Hollywood, Martin is still unsure if these projects will see the light of day.
