MTV Video Music Awards makes its annual return. Another year of the star-studded ceremony celebrating top music videos of the preceding year is upon us. The MTV VMA has maintained its foreground since its inception in 1984.
MTV VMA 2022 has announced its nominees under 22 categories. The nominees for Group of the Year and Song of Summer will be released soon. Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X, and Jack Harlow have received the most nominations this year, tying for seven each. They were followed by Harry Styles and Cardi B up with six nominations each. Meanwhile, Drake, Billie Eilish, Dua Lips, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and Ed Sheeran have received five nominations each. BTS received four nominations, the most for any group this year too.
