A man named Randy Williams has been trending online after he created a nation called Slowjamastan.

Slowjamastan And The Story Behind It
Slowjamastan is one of the countries created by Randy Williams. Speaking on the story behind its creation, Williams said that he has gone to every country recognized by the UN and because he was running out of countries, he created his own nation.
It is a small place that is located in an 11.07-acre plot of desert land on Route 78 of Southern California. The place is officially known as the Republic of Slowjamastan and it is named after Williams’ love of slow jams.
The micronation declared its sovereignty in 2021 and has got its flag, currency, and national anthem now. The micronation has its timezone and 12 states are included in the space of 11 acres including the capital, Dublandia.

Randy Williams’ Struggle To Make Slowmajastan Recognized Among People
Randy Williams has mentioned that he has visited another micronation, the Republic of Molossia, which is located in Nevada. It was supposedly seceded in 1998 from the US.
Williams eventually returned to his residence and purchased the California-based land in 2021. He then declared the country independent in three months but he has admitted that he could not convince President Joe Biden to acknowledge the secession of his micronation.
Randy further stated that they have around 5,000 people registered as Slowjamastanis and although they are not planning any elections, they are considering it for now. He mentioned that there are some rules and laws in the place like in other nations.
