‘The Flash’ Has A Budget Of $220 Million
Thanks to the latest CBC report, we have learned that the live-action film ‘The Flash’ has a budget of $220 million. It surpasses past DC films ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ ($200 million) and ‘Black Adam’ ($190 million, which ballooned to $260 due to reshoots). Paul Austerberry, the production designer, talked about ‘The Flash’ always intended for the big screen.
Paul Austerberry said, “We’re designing these things and designing the film for the big screen; this is a big screen, movie-going experience. I hope most people see it on the big screen … This kind of movie is made for the multiplex. It’s made for the big spectacle.”

The consensus coming out of CinemaCon 2023 has been generally positive. Fans were happy with what they saw, many calling ‘The Flash’ an entertaining movie with a solid emotional core. But is the movie worth the hype, and will it make its money back? Movie going audience will find out on June 16, 2023. On the question of Ezra Miller staying, James Gunn has hinted at a possible change of guard.
Starring Ezra Miller as ‘The Flash,’ the film is inspired by the popular ‘Flashpoint’ comic storyline where Barry Allen/The Flash travels back in time to save his mother from being murdered. In doing so, he inadvertently creates a reality in which General Zodd conquers the earth. Left without Justice League, Barry turns to recruit an unfamiliar Batman and a Kryptonian prisoner to save the world.
