H.G. Wells’ works have always been loved by everyone. His novels and stories have been adapted in some form and one of them is ‘The Invisible Man.’ It is a novel that has been a major inspiration for several films and TV shows and Universal Pictures also decided to give it a try with a reboot.
The film remained in development hell for a long time and was delayed a bit because of the failure of the Dark Universe. However, ‘The Invisible Man’ received a positive response when it was released in theatres with particular praise being given to the performances. Although the film could not earn much due to the pandemic that began at the same time, a sequel has been already confirmed.

‘The Invisible Man 2’: Plot Details
‘The Invisible Man 2’ has been in development since 2020 and the same was also confirmed by director Leigh Whannell at the time. However, the producers have not spoken much about the sequel in all this time as they have been possibly busy with the rest of the projects being produced by them.
For now, it is hard to predict anything in terms of the storyline. All those who have seen the first film are aware of the fact that it did not end on a cliffhanger. We witnessed Adrian seemingly killing himself and Cecilia appearing and revealing that she used his bodysuit to murder him. We don’t have any idea where the story would go from here but the makers might resurrect Adrian by some miracle.

‘The Invisible Man 2’: Cast And Release Date
Since the producers are silent regarding the progress of ‘The Invisible Man 2’, we cannot expect to see the sequel so soon. It might take a few more years and the reason it could take so long is that possibly the makers are not planning to compromise and deliver a box office bomb.
Because the plot of the first film ended without leaving any questions unanswered, we cannot remain assured that all the characters would return. The makers might decide to go for a new story with new cast members and characters. But everything is speculation for now.
