Universal made an amazing announcement at this year’s CinemaCon. The largest gathering of theaters owners with their stage inside the Colosseum at the Ceasar’s palace represented many amazing studios like Universal, Walt Disney, Sony pictures, etc. Universal made their presentations packed with trailer drops and talent appearances. They showed the trailer of their upcoming Rom-com “Ticket To Paradise” at CinemaCon with a pairing of George Clooney and Julia Robert.
George Clooney And Julia Roberts Back Together Again On The Big Screen
The stars of “Oceans 11” and “ Money Monster” are again coming back together for Universal’s new Rom-com “Ticket to paradise.” The studio showed the trailer of the movie at the CinemaCon.
Clooney has praised Parker’s script and also credited it. “I haven’t done a romantic comedy really since [1996’s] One Fine Day,” Clooney said earlier this year. “I’ve done some sort of snarky ones, you know, and in this one, Julia and I just get to be mean to each other in the funniest way.”
He loved Robert’s performance and said they really enjoyed making the film. “Julia is just fantastic in it, and this wonderful actor named Lucas Bravo, who’s just absolutely the funniest thing in the movie,” he added. “It’s just a really fun, fun, fun cast all the way around. We’re having a great time.”
“Ticket To Paradise” The Romcom
Directed by Ol Parker this amazing rom-com will hit the big screens on October 28.
Synopsis: Clooney and Roberts are a divorced couple who travel to Bali to stop their daughter from getting married. They wanted to stop her from making the same mistake they made by marrying someone she just met.
Billie Lourd, Lucas Bravo, Amanda O’Dempsey, Rowan Chapman, Murran Kain, and Vanessa Everett round out the cast.
There are sharp-tongued fights between Clooney and Roberts. This movie contains dancing, drinking, physical humor, and some beer pong. There is a particular scene of Clooney doing his classic running man dance. “This is my new favorite place on Earth,” Roberts declares from a heavenly-looking beach. Fans can’t wait to see this amazing pair finally reuniting on the big screen.
