Though season 10 of ‘The Masked Singer’ has been wrapped up, the show has not yet excused itself from the headlines. One of the show’s participants has found himself in a political storm after he commented against US President Joe Biden on social media.
It’s the ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star John Schneider who allegedly threatened President Joe Biden on Twitter and then deleted the post. However, the Secret Service has already taken notice and is investigating the actor’s controversial remarks, as reported by Deadline.

What Did John Schneider Say In His Controversial X Post?
According to reports, Schneider suggested in a deleted reply on X that the president should be “publicly hung”. His remarks came in response to a tweet from President Biden, who claimed that former President Donald Trump poses a threat to the nation.
In a screenshot procured by Deadline, Schneider’s deleted reply read, “Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung. Your son, too. Your response is..? Sincerely, John Schneider.” The actor has vehemently denied any threat against the president in a statement provided to People.
The controversy gained traction hours after Schneider, popular as ‘Donut’, came out as the runner-up on the season 10 finale of ‘The Masked Singer’.

John Schneider Opens Up About His Experience On ‘The Masked Singer’
Speaking about his experience on the show, Schneider shared how the reality competition helped him cope with the recent loss of his wife, Alicia Allain. His wife died of breast cancer on February 21 at the age of 53.
He said that his stint on the show was to honor his wife. “What an amazing opportunity to be able to honor Alicia, to be able to honor people who are grieving, maybe educate people who are grieving a little bit, in front of millions of people. I’m a pretty strong guy, but I’m also a very emotional guy.”
The actor said that his choice of a donut costume on the show also carried sentimental value. “Every Saturday, Alicia would go down to our local donut store, get me a bag of apple fritters. And I would eat one, only one, but donuts had been part of my life,” he said.
The actor has not yet commented on the news of the investigation launched against him.
