‘Mad Max: Fury Road‘ returned with the dystopian environment, which fans admired a lot in 2015. The movie is coming back with George Miller’s ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga‘. As it is a prequel many characters Immortan Joe and Nathan Jones’ Rictus are returning, and fans are not happy with some scenes.
Fans found one of the scenes involving the latter and young Furiosa as creepy. They started to show their anger towards Jones for doing that particular scene. The hate reached to an extent that, he had to address the issue through a post.

Nathan Jones Addresses Hate Over A Scene In Furiosa
Nathan Jones is reprising the role of Rictus in ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga‘. The lore and the history of the movie and certain things that happened in the movie were disturbing according to some viewers.
Rictus and young Furiosa had a scene together in the movie. rictus develops a weird attraction for her and tries to sexually assault her. Fans took to his DM’s and comments to point out the following scene as disgusting.
Concerning the hate he is receiving, Jones wrote a post on Facebook saying: “Hi everyone, I’ve noticed a few queries and private messages about my role in Mad Max: Furiosa, particularly regarding a scene with young Furiosa. This is a very sensitive subject, and I want to emphasize that it involves a fictional character.”
He continued, “The details can be uncomfortable, and as an actor, my job is to portray a character based on the direction and script provided to me. I appreciate your understanding and support in recognizing the distinction between fiction and reality. Thank you.”

Character Of Rictus
Rictus is an antagonist in the story and such traits come from there and such scenes should be expected from characters like Rictus. People should understand, that it is part of the script. Rather they should appreciate him for his commitment to the role and for doing it with perfection.
As a part of Dementus and Immortan Joe’s deal, young Furiosa is kept at the citadel in the vault. From there, Rictus develops a weird attraction towards her and tries to sexually assault the child. But, Furiosa finds a way to escape the situation.
Furthermore, actor Tom Burke claimed that his involvement in the movie was unreal. He wasn’t featured anywhere in the marketing of ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’. Even his character Praetorian Jack plays an important role in the development of the plot. Although, Burke praised Miller for keeping his character a secret from the fans.
