The life of the comedian was tumultuous since his birth. Unfortunately, he had a second-hand experience with apartheid. Trevor Noah was born on February 20, 1984, in Johannesburg, South Africa. Noah was born to an interracial couple. His father was of Swiss descent and his mother belonged to the second-largest racial community, Xhosa. Trevor grew up in Soweto town. In Soweto, he attended Maryvale College, a multi-ethnic, private Catholic School. However, after his sixth grade, he switched to a government school. At the age of 18, the comedian started his career.
In 2002, he got his first gig in a soap opera titled ‘Isidingo,’ where he had a small appearance. He hosted a radio show named ‘Noah’s Ark.’ In television, he had humble beginnings. He first hosted an edutainment show ‘Run The Adventure.’ In 2007, he entered the entertainment avenue with a gossip show, ‘The Real Goboza.’ The years 2009-2010 gave limelight to him.
