Divine Brown: Childhood And Legal Issues
Divine Brown was born on August 9, 1969, and she grew up in a condition where her financial situation was not so good. Things took such a worse turn when she failed to pay the electricity bill and decided to become a sex worker. She began to earn $1,000 in five hours when she joined the profession.
She was arrested with Hugh Grant in Los Angeles in June 1995. Brown stated that the cops’ attention was diverted towards them as Grant was continuously pressing the brake pedal of the vehicle and the brake lights flashed. She pleaded not guilty after being accused of lewd conduct and she was ordered to enroll in an AIDS class alongside five days of community service.
A fine of $1,150 for parole violations was charged to her and she was sentenced to 180 days. Grant also pleaded not guilty and a fine worth $1,180 was imposed on him alongside summary probation of two years and joining an AIDS education program. She was arrested once again in 1996 while she passed suggestive comments to cops working undercover.

Divine Brown Made Several Appearances On Television
Divine Brown’s arrest with Hugh Grant made her a popular face and she appeared in a few TV shows, She was also featured in a commercial related to a radio station in Los Angeles and a lingerie company from Brazil. She also appeared on the covers of some magazines.
She then appeared in a documentary series, ‘Negermagasinet’, and was the subject of a biopic, ‘Million Dollar Hooker.’ She also earned $1.6 million following her arrest with Hugh Grant and she became the owner of a house with the father of her kids, Alvin C. Brown.
