The 44-year-old actor Justin Long dated Drew for a brief period. The actress revealed in a casual chat with Mike Birbiglia during her daytime talk show ‘A Little Bit Extra’ that she dated Justin and was very much in love with him because he was funny and has the sharpest wit. Why Did Drew Barrymore And Justin Long Break Up?
Tabloids headlined Drew Barrymore when she married a bar owner in 1994. The headlines were doubled when she divorced two months later. After her divorce, she married Tom that lasted only a year. However, everyone knows Tom Green and Drew are on good terms to date.
After these on-and-off relationships and marriages, Drew had a relatively long relationship with ‘The Strokes’ drummer Fabrizio Moretti. They both dated for 5 years. After this long relationship, Drew dated Justin Long. Justin and Drew started dating in “the late summer” of 2007. On Thanksgiving, they were planning to spend the holidays with her parents. The couple seemed serious in their relationship until it was not.
The couple called it quits on the following summer of 2008. They both were busy in Hollywood at that time and they were not able to catch up with each other . This eventually led them to end their relationship. Even after their breakup, the two still enjoyed working together.

How Did The Two Feel After Break Up?
Even after breaking up, Drew and Justin still paired up on ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ in 2009 and ‘Going the Distance‘ in 2010. Ironically, the latter was a movie focused on a long-distance relationship. In 2009, in an interview with Us Magazine, Justin revealed that there was no awkwardness between him and Drew while working after the break up.
However, Nicki Swift says that Drew was devastated after their split. In fact, he even opted out of Drew’s film, ‘Whip It’, which he was set to work on. Not too long after their break up, she married Will Kopelman. They both welcomed two daughters before divorcing in 2016. Drew and Long are still friends and have been spotted many times together. Justin said, “She’s the best… She has this amazing ability to make anyone feel like at ease.”
On March 29, 2020, Paper Magazine posted a series of pictures of Justin on Instagram. The caption read, “Might get fired for this but. F**k it. Justin Long appreciation post.” Soon, Drew jumped into the comments section and posted, “Your [sic] not wrong! He’s great.” Long replied to his ex, he commented, “Ah what do YOU know?! I feel like I’m on an episode of This Is Your Life #HipMillenialReference.” He also added, “Texting you a great photo booth pic I just found during my quarantine clean!”
