Elon Musk Sells The Twitter Bird Statue
Musk has made several dramatic changes in the social media giant, ever since he took over in late 2022. He has fired people, introduced new policies that backfired and he has scared advertisers.
According to BBC, the billionaire has sold the company’s iconic bird logo statue in an auction. The company memorabilia was sold for $100,000 in an auction. The auction was held to remove surplus items in the San Francisco office which includes furnitures, kitchen supplies, electronics, and memorabilia.
Of the 600 items sold, the bird logo was the most expensive one. Apart from the nearly four-foot-tall statue, the second most expensive item sold was a 10-foot neon Twitter bird display for $40,000.

Other Items Were Also Sold From The Office
Other items like a pizza oven, three kegerators, a food dehydrator, and a @ shaped planter were also sold. A custom wood conference room table was sold for around $10,500.
Face masks in thousands and many soundproof phone booths were also sold for more than $4,000. Ever since the acquisition, Musk has been doing desperate moves to cut the costs of the loss-making company.
Apart from the firing spree, he has stopped paying office rent, and office vendors and has ended several employee facilities like free meals, etc. Twitter’s revenue has been falling ever since Musk bought the company.
