Taylor Swift dated Harry Styles in late 2012, but the two broke up quite soon. Their relationship didn’t exceed more than a few months. Later, in 2013, Kendall Jenner and the ‘Watermelon Sugar‘ singer got together. This caused many to think that the ‘Love Story‘ singer had ill feelings toward the eldest Jenner sister. Moreover, in the song ‘Style‘ many thought that the lyrics “Some other girl” were for Kendall.
However, these speculations were debunked when Gigi Hadid, along with Kendall Jenner, walked on the stage during Taylor Swift’s ‘1989‘ World Tour. It was then quite clear that the two do not harbor any bad blood between them.
Kanye West And The ‘Famous’ Song Controversy
It was all well and peachy until the Kanye-Taylor Swift controversy happened during the VMAs when the rapper humiliated Swift midway through her acceptance speech. Apologies were made, and things became back to normal but apparently, Kanye didn’t want to stop at that. He released a song ‘Famous’ in 2016 which had some bold lyrics about Taylor. The song lyrics claimed that Kanye made Taylor famous and called her a ‘b*tch’ in the lyrics.
Taylor didn’t wait for a second to slam the rapper for his egregious work and called him out for lies, and yet again, humiliation. The feud obviously created two sides: Taylor and Kanye. Many of Taylor’s friends sided with her and supported her during this mentally exhausting time of hers. However, Jenner decided to stay loyal to her family, since Kanye was Jenner’s brother-in-law. “I don’t know if Kendall was a part of her squad,” Kim Kardashian said of Kendall supporting Kanye in an episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’. “I don’t think she was, or is. So I don’t think it was awkward.” There, Kim clearly said that the two never have been close friends.

Swift And Jenner’s Implicit Public Gestures Of Disliking Each Other
The supermodel and singer have made many public implicit gestures and actions which have further proved that the two aren’t any close to being friends. When Taylor made her grand comeback after three years with the album ‘Reputation‘, she shaded Jenner in her music video for the song, ‘Look What You Made Me Do‘ by donning a complete orange ensemble with a snake tattoo on her upper thigh. This was in reference to Jenner’s look for V Magazine, in which she had been photographed with a snake tattoo on her upper thigh, while the orange ensemble can be referenced to one of Kendall’s most famous mirror selfies, in which she was wearing orange boots up till her waist.
Apart from this, there are other numerous events that have piled up regarding these two. One of these is Jenner’s support for Scooter Braun, the man with whom Taylor has had a feud over the ownership rights of her songs. According to Elle, Jenner liked an Instagram post of Braun’s wife, Yael Cohen, in which Cohen called out Swift for allegedly bullying her husband.
