The Chiefs star is known for his lavish lifestyle consisting of private jets, luxuries and expensive nightclubs. It has been revealed in the past, by himself that he is not very responsible when it comes to handling financial matters.
In Touch has revealed that Kelce is not responsible when it comes to his taxes. According to court documents obtained by the outlet, Kelce owes approximately $46,579 in state taxes from his native Ohio as of June 2017.
Additionally, it notes that a second tax claim for $64,198 is dated November 2018 and a third sum of 909 dollars, is dated December 2018.
Since 2011, the footballer has been involved in at least six known criminal offenses relating to vehicles. This might be part of the reason why he has such a high debt.
All of them are registered in the state of Ohio and involve incidents involving speeding or not wearing seatbelts, for which he entered a guilty plea.

Travis Kelce’s NFL salary alone is worth millions. His contract is worth $57.25 million, which secures him an annual $14.3 million per season until 2026. As for his podcast with Jason Kelce, that is worth $2 million but since the popularity of the podcast has increased in the latest news (Taylor Swift effect), it might be worth more very soon. As for being responsible with his expenses, Kelce revealed in an interview earlier that he blew off all of his rookie money and went almost broke.

He then proceeded to give a piece of financial advise to the youngsters. He said, “All the young guys in the league, all the guys that have the opportunity to get that big first check from the NFL — save it! Find a financial advisor that you trust, that’s gonna do right with your money because I was searching around for car deals after my first year trying to just pay rent!”
