How Did Mia Dio Use AI To Out Her Boyfriend?
In a video posted by the social media star, Mia Dio explains how she caught her boyfriend cheating with AI. She used the AI-generated voice of her boyfriend to call his friend and find out the truth.
“My boyfriend has been acting very weird. [So] I opened up voice cloning software and imported voicemails that my boyfriend has left. I typed in a script of what I want my “boyfriend” to tell his friend,” says Mia in the video.
She then calls his friend and listens as the AI’s robotic reconstruction of Billy’s voice talks. His friend recalls how Billy “got f***ing s***-faced and picked up some random sorority girl and made out with her in front of everyone.”

Mia Explains The Intelligent Use Of AI To Out Cheating Partners
The video ends with Mia almost on the verge of tears. After her video gained popularity on social media, netizens flooded her with messages of how intelligent she is for this and also with messages of support.
But later Mia revealed that this was a well-planned prank on her followers and both her boyfriend and his friend were in on it. “One night, [my boyfriend] and I are talking and it comes up how you can genuinely clone someone’s voice. I remember watching the news and they were talking about that AI kidnapping scam, and I thought it was crazy,” the influencer said.
She further explained how the use of AI to recreate Drake’s voice was super realistic and it got them thinking “about scenarios in my own life that an AI voice imitation would have been useful.” Mia continued to say, “I thought about an ex who had cheated on me and how this type of technology would have saved me a lot of time. We decided to try it with his voice and we were shocked at how close the results were – and we came up with the idea for the fictional prank video together.”
She said that a cheating epidemic has mostly been happening thanks to the increased technological advance which have made cheating so easy. And many of her followers had reached out to her with such concerns. So the social media influencer made the video to help them but she is still in a happy relationship with her boyfriend.
