The Monarch May Abdicate Throne For Prince William
Since last week, the monarchies around Europe have been worried about their thrones. Recently, the monarch of Denmark, Queen Margrethe II, abdicated her throne for her son, Prince Frederik.
The decision came after Frederik was found amidst a cheating scandal with a Mexican socialite, Genoveva Casanova, in Spain. However, the queen has cited health issues as the reason to abdicate the throne.
As the world applauded Queen Margrethe II’s decision, people started demanding King Charles III to follow in the footsteps of Denmark’s monarch and abdicate the throne for Prince William. But he would follow in his mother’s footsteps, as the late queen had an anti-abdication stance.
A reporter, Joe Little, said, “I think Charles follows his mother’s reasoning in many ways. At the moment, it doesn’t make sense to compare him to monarchs of a similar age who have been on the throne for decades, as his reign is still new and he is in good health.”
