‘House of the Dragon‘ found Emma D’Arcy’s Rhaenyra putting on a disguise and sliding back into King’s Landing in a last-ditch effort to avert war between her side and Alicent Hightower, Aegon and the Greens. This disguise ignited feelings of nostalgia amongst the fans as Hannah Waddingham, who played Septa Unella, famously wore this outfit while escorting Cersei through King’s Landing on ‘Game Of Thrones‘.
“That’s MY outfit!!! Get it off!!!!” the actress commented under a photo of D’Arcy and Anthony Flanagan, who plays Ser Steffon Darklyn. She then went on to evoke the memories of one of Septa Unella’s best-known moments – when she walked behind a naked and shorn Cersei, ringing a bell and chanting “Shame!,” in the Season 5 finale by adding “#dingshamedingshame,” on Instagram.
Waddingham‘s hilarious take on the scene brought out many reactions from the fans and fans were thrilled to witness how the ‘Game of Thrones’ spirit is still well and alive even after the show ended in 2019 after 8 seasons.

‘Game Of Thrones’ Made Hannah Experience “Chronic Claustrophobia”
Although having starred in the show for many years, Hannah Waddingham shared how some of the scenes actively gave her trauma that she still deals with the repercussions of. While recalling the infamous “water-boarding” scene in which Cersei takes her revenge on Waddinham’s religious zealot Septa Unella, Waddingham revealed how it gave her chronic claustrophobia. “Thrones gave me something I wasn’t expecting from it, which was chronic claustrophobia,” Waddingham told Stephen Colbert on ‘The Late Show’.
“It was horrific. Ten hours of being actually waterboarded…Like actually,” she added. “Definitely other than childbirth, [it] was the worst day of my life. Lena was uncomfortable pouring liquid in my face for that long, and I was beside myself. But in those moments, you go, ‘Do you serve the piece and get on with it?’ Or do you chicken out and go, ‘This isn’t what I signed up for.'”
In addition, Waddingham described how the grape juice used in the scene had colored her hair purple by the end of the day and how the shouting had caused her to lose her voice.
