While the series will predominantly look into the life of Queen Charlotte, the viewers will also be given the backstories of Lady Danbury and Violet Bridgerton. “While the series will centre on the rise and love life of a young Queen Charlotte, it will also tell the stories of young Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury,Netflix informed in a press release.

Moreover, the official logline from Netflix says the series will be “centered on Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and power, this Bridgerton-verse prequel tells the story of how the young Queen’s marriage to King George sparked both a great love story and a societal shift, creating the world of the Ton inherited by the characters in Bridgerton.”

The real-life Queen Charlotte got married to King George II when she was a teenager. In the series, the Queen doesn’t seem to have kids, but in reality, she had more than 10 children. Moreover, while the real Charlotte was of German ancestry, it was also speculated that she even had African ancestry.
