Dakota Johnson Was Disappointed With Cast Of ‘The Office’
Other than her charming on-screen presence, Dakota Johnson is also known for her transparent and bold interviews. Recently during an appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, the actress shared her experience while filming the final episode of ‘The Office’. In the last episode of the series, Johnson played the role of an account, who replaced Kevin after Dwight fired him. It was such a minor role that even the fans might have missed.
During the conversation, the actress reminisced about her role in the series, “That was honestly the worst time of my life. I love that show so much, and they were like, Do you want to be in the series finale? and I was like, Of course,’ thinking that I’d show up for, like, half a day. I was there for two weeks and I’m barely in the f***ing show.”
The actress also confessed that the entire cast of the series was “sad” as the shooting for the final episode had begun. Johnson further said, “They were sad and also, like, there were weird dynamics that had been going on for the last 10 years. Some people didn’t speak to each other. Is ‘The Office’ Getting A Movie Version?
Bryan Cranston who directed the season nine episode ‘Work Bus‘, made the headlines for pitching his idea of a movie version of ‘The Office’. The ‘Breaking Bad‘ star also shared his idea with the cast members including Jenna Fisher and Angela Kinsey on ‘Office Ladies‘ podcast. Cranston asked, “Let’s say that there’s not a reboot series, but what if there was a movie? Something to where we can see where these people are. These people in the entire cast that we’re curious about. We wondered at the end, where did they go? What did become of them?”
Fischer seemed excited about the project, but only if Greg Daniels was involved. Fischer said, “because then I would trust it. You know? As long as Greg is writing it and he’s in charge of it, then I say yes.”
After Fischer, Kinsey said, “I would do it for my kids because I think they would think that’s fun.” Earlier this year, Daniels had opened a development room to officially begin planning a reboot.
