The first time we hear of Jewelry Bonney is from Shakky at the Sabaody Archipelago Arc. She along with the other eight Worst Generation candidates is introduced with their bounty. Bonney carried a bounty of $140,000,000 berries which later increases to $320,000,000 berries.
Upon sailing into the New World she comes off as a major threat to the Government and the World Nobles. Being the captain of the Bonney Pirates, she introduces a major force as the Straw Hats’ allies later in the series. There’s been an ambiguous situation noted about Bonney and Kuma’s connection, as the former shed tears for Kuma after looking at his state.

How Is Jewelry Bonney Related To Kuma?
After her introduction at the Sabaody Archipelago, Jewelry Bonney is once again introduced in Mariejois where she was seen crying after looking at Bartholomew Kuma’s condition. Her emotions hunted the fact that the two might be holding a special bond that is only revealed later in the series.
It was shown that Bonney is the biological daughter of Kuma and the princess of the Sorbet Kingdom. Kuma who was once a ruler of the Kingdom joined the Revolutionary Army, and later the status of the Warlord after agreeing to Word Government terms. Dr. Vegapunk later turned Kuma into a cyborg for the Pacifista program.
Kuma who was now a complete cyborg without any emotions or thoughts couldn’t recognize his own blood as he tried to hunt down the Straw Hats and Bonney. She time and again defended him and even protected a cyborg who looked like his father. Her mission was to meet Vegapunk and ask for his help in turning her father back to normal.

What Is Jewelry Bonney’s Devil Fruit Power?
Bonney has eaten a type of rare Paramecia Devil Type Fruit. This fruit allows her to change her age and even the age of her foes. The first display of her power is shown during the Sabaody Archipelago Arc where she fought the Marines. She can turn a person into a child and reverse it into old age. The World Government was shown to be quite wary of her powers.
The World Government chasing her is proof that she is a major threat to them in one way or the other. It may also be due to the fact that the Government wants her Devil Fruit powers and is seeking her out. Nevertheless, she is a major character in the last arc of One Piece. She has proved to be an ally to Luffy, and may further help them out in the series.
