The world of ‘Reincarnated as a Slime‘ is ruled by the underlying powers of the society The Octagram. Throughout the series, we see different forces like the demon forces, the Jura forest region, the human dwellers, the summoners, and the Holy Church. Our favorite character Rimuru Tempest is the dweller and the ruler of the Tempest region.
His existence threatened the other allied forces among which some formed friendly relations, while others retaliated. But despite these powers clashing for dominance, The Octagram is the main driving force of the society. It’s a group of Demon Lords who reign and overlook the world. They are powerful enough to label them as the “Disaster Catastrophe Class” whose existence itself embeds fear in rest.

Top 8 Demon Lords Of The Octagram
The demons often times held a festival or gathering known as the Walpulgris. All the demon lords sat together to discuss things while at times just hanging out. Unbeknownst to them, the rest of the world trembled and was alerted of the gathering, as they feared the power of the demon lords.
Before Rimuru joined the party, there were 10 demon lords. After Clayman’s death and with Frey and Carrion stepping down from their demon lord position, the number only counted to 7, when Rimuru joined naming him as the newest 8th member.
8. Rimuru Tempest
Rimuru is slime by nature but his incredible mana source, healing abilities, and all his other powers make him seem almost undefeatable. He is undoubtedly one of the strongest out there. Rimuru evolved as a true Demon Lord during his awakening, already marking him higher than most.
7. Leon Cromwell (Platinum Devil)
Though his strength is unknown, from the series it seems he is well able to summon people from the Earth, known as summoners. He did that with Shizue Izawa and summoned her during the Tokyo bombings. Leon seemed very interested in Rimuru and why he looked like Shizue. He even said that he would like to talk with Mr. Slime privately and would invite him to his palace.
6. Dino (Sleeping Ruler)
Dino nicknamed the Sleeping Ruler, is close to Ramiris. At the Walpurgis he slept most of the time, only waking up if anything worth interesting happens. He seems to tease Ramiris a lot but does that with a straight expression. Not much about his powers is known yet.
5. Luminous Valentine (Queen of Nightmares)
Valentine is an extremely powerful demon who once went against the dragon Tempest. She is the true demon lord but hid her identity as a maid to find the mole in the Walpurgis event. Though at the end she reveals her identity and takes her own seat. She seems a bit straightforward and strict person who likes to follow plans.

4. Dagruel (Continent’s Wrath)
Dragruel is the giant demon who, as you can guess, possesses vast strength. He seems a bit naive but that’s only an appearance. He takes the 4th seat at Walpurgis and in the Octagram. Dagruel is said to rule the barren lands of the Western part of the Central Continent.
3. Lamrys (Fairy of Labyrinth)
Lamrys unlike her demon lord status is a very friendly little fairy. She has close bonds with both Guy and Rimuru. Lamrys seems to have a bit of cute rivalry going on with Dino, as she loves to show off her companions on Walpurgis’ Day. Guy stated that they along with Milim are one of the oldest true demon lords in the world.
2. Milim Nava (Destroyer)
Milim, just like her appearance is a friendly demon lord, but go on her wrong side and she’ll whoop you up. She develops a close bond with Rimuru, even protecting his civilians against outside dangers. Rimuru too has demonstrated great care for her, as Milim self-considered herself as his bestie. She is one of the original demon lords like Guy.
1. Guy Crimson (Lord of Darkness)
The head seat of the Walpurgis and the first demon to ever be in the center of the event, Guy Crimson is dangerously powerful. Even Rimuru states that he is no joke. He instantly takes a liking to Rimuru for various reasons. Being one of the oldest and strongest out there, the aura blasts his powers
