Top 10 Strongest Characters in Seven Deadly Sins
Meliodas
Meliodas is undoubtedly the most powerful being in the ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ universe. He is not only the former leader of the Ten Commandments but also the heir of the Demon King. As the son of the Demon King, he already has strength that others don’t possess. Moreover, during the fight with the Demon King, he absorbs the Ten Commandments and their abilities. Thus making Meliodas the strongest of all, including the King himself.
Demon King
Both the Demon King and the Supreme God possess far greater strength, as we have seen them overpowering their children, and cursing them to live a hell of a life. Though Meliodas later defeats the Demon King, his power cannot be overlooked. He possesses a power called The Ruler which inverts and nullifies any magic that can hurt him.
Chaos Arthur
Chaos Arthur makes his entrance after Meliodas has defeated the Demon King and the Supreme God. Chaos was their creator, but in time they sealed him for infinity. Mael
One of the strongest among the Four Archangels of the Goddess Clan, he stands right next to the Supreme God himself. His power Grace makes him astoundingly powerful, and an extremely dangerous opponent. Not many can hold out against him. Mael’s most powerful during the peak of noon, as he can fully utilize his power Grace – sunshine.
Escanor
The wielder of Mael’s grace, Escanor can fight the best during noon time, and mostly when the sun’s up in the sky. After Mael turned into Estarossa, Escanore became the handler of the power Grace. He could easily overpower Estarossa, Gaaland, and even the Assault Mode Meliodas. Of course, Meliodas being in his full form cannot be matched with any characters from their universe.

Ban
Undoubtedly he is one of the strongest among the Seven Deadly Sins, but what makes him apart is the fact that he can regenerate thousands of times without any problem. After drinking from the Fountain of Youth, he received the blessing of regeneration, and that too at a frightening speed. Through his journey in purgatory, he became even more powerful. Other than his regenerative abilities, he can be considered weak among all.
Merlin
The strongest mage in all of Britania and one of the Seven Deadly Sins, she is a prodigy magician and tactician, who cannot be matched with other characters. She was responsible for trying to awaken Chaos and was also the one who helped Meliodas and Elizabeth destroy their curse. Her abilities are incredibly powerful allowing her to accomplish some crazy feats.
Zeldris
The Demon King’s second child and Meliodas’ younger brother, Zeldris – this should be enough to have anyone measure his strength. After Meliodas’ betrayal, he becomes the leader of the Ten Commandments. He can nullify any attacks used against him and can use the power of Ominous Nebula which ceases the life of any living being with ease. The Seven Deadly Sins and the Four Archangels had to come together to fight off and subdue him.
Cath
The cute little cat-like being transforms into a beast from Purgatory who reveals its main aim is devouring Chaos and becoming powerful. He does take a bite of Chaos, after chewing off Arthur’s arm. Only that much was enough to awaken its deadly powers, marking him as a threat to all. He developed immortality and regenerative powers after bitting off Chaos and could create pocket dimensions to store his foes. Arthur and Merlin had to work together to subdue him.
Elizabeth
The youngest daughter and the princess of Britannia was originally a heavenly being. She was the daughter of the Supreme God, who later got cursed as she fell in love with the Demon King’s son Meliodas. During her prime time, she was referred to as “Bloodstained Ellie” as she decapitated many demons during her time.
