    Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee With Their Children But Not Given Any Official Duty

    Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will join the Queen’s platinum jubilee. There was much speculation that the royal couple might skip the celebration. But now they have confirmed that they will be coming to England to take part in Queen’s special day celebration.

    Recently, It was confirmed that Duke and Duchess will attend Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations with their kids. Their representative has confirmed the news with media outlets.

    After weeks of speculation, the couple has revealed that they will go to London in June with their 3-year-old son Archie and 11-month-old daughter Lilibet. It means that the Queen, who is 96 years old, will finally meet her namesake great-granddaughter, Lilibet (Elizabeth’s childhood nickname), born in California last June.

    “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are excited and honored to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children,” a spokeswoman for the couple told the media.

    The Family Will Not Be Present At The Official Public Presentation

    The young family, however, will not attend the official public appearance. They will not appear for the photo at the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the Queen. Although, Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, and other working members of the royal family will be there.

    “After careful consideration, the Queen has decided this year’s traditional trooping the colour balcony appearance on Thursday, 2 June, will be limited to Her Majesty, and those members of the royal family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the Queen,” as per palace statement.

    Prince Andrew has also withdrawn from public life following a sexual-assault lawsuit and settlement, and will not be present.

    There were fresh speculations this week that Harry and Meghan will not make it. Since he has signed up to play polo for the entire season with the Los Padres in Santa Barbara, California.
