Joe Keery initially produced music under the name Cool Cool Cool, before he joined the band called ‘Post Animal‘. As his acting career picked up, he parted ways with music. But after he was spotted at the music studio at the same time as Taylor Swift, his fans all reason to get high hopes.

Speaking at ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Keery recalled the day when he and Taylor Swift were at the Electric Lady Studios. “Well, that was a very confusing day because I was just in there minding my own business — not doing anything. Then I walked out the door and it was like 1,000 people were standing out there,” he said.

People looked at me expecting Taylor and were like, ‘Who’s this guy?’ And then I walked down the block, and someone’s like, ‘Oh, that’s that guy!’” Keery said, recalling fan reactions. With that, he clarified that it was a mere accident that Taylor and he were at the same place at the same time.

Though he denied anything brewing as the rumors suggested, he did not entirely rule out a future possibility of the same. “Maybe that would generate something. Maybe that experience generated something in the universe, but I don’t know,” he said, indicating that he would be up to working with the megastar.
