Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ divorce came across as a surprise to many as the happy couple ended their relationship after years of marital bliss. The divorce, which went on to become quite messy with accusations and legal battles and Sophie finding a best friend in Jonas’ ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, seems to have taken quite a toll on Turner as she has distanced herself from the rest of the Jonas family.

Joe Jonas And Sophie Turner’s Divorce
A month ago, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner took to Instagram to announce that they were separating through a joint statement. Soon after, rumors and backstories on the split started surfacing. Some said that the divorce had to do with Sophie being a ‘party animal’ which Joe didn’t approve of. While others claimed that Joe has been less than supportive of Sophie during her pregnancy, leading to their fallout.
As the rumors went on, Sophie sued Joe who allegedly had kept their children away from her. To which Joe’s lawyers responded and called out Sophie’s statements to be false.
Now after discussing their parenting schedules and decisions together, the couple reached an agreement on co-parenting and will continue to be co-parents to their two daughters.
Amidst the divorce, it seems Sophie has started afresh as she is being seen with new friends, and cutting off old ones – more notably Nick Jonas’ wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

The Jonas Brothers – Joe, Nick and Kevin and their wives – Sophie Turner, Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas, respectively, have been incredibly close over the years. They have been seen celebrating holidays together and constantly being seen in each other socials. Amid this, Sophie has quietly expressed her cutting ties with Priyanka as she stopped following the ‘Citadel‘ star on social media.
