In an industry built on relationships and reputations, it looks like Brad Pitt is keeping track. According to his ‘Bullet Train‘ co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the Oscar-winning actor has a private list of collaborators, which he puts into two groups. One is for people he would work with again. The other is for people he would not.

He is in a new chapter of his life, I think,” Taylor-Johnson told Variety in 2022. “He just wants to bring light and joy into the world and be around people who are there to have a good time. You work with many actors and after a while you start making notes: ‘I am definitely not working with this person ever again.’ Brad has this list too: the ‘good’ list and the ‘shit’ list.

No one knows exactly who is on Pitt’s “shit list.” But Taylor-Johnson’s comment got people talking as Hollywood fans and historians started guessing which past co-stars might have landed a permanent spot.

One name that comes up a lot is Tom Cruise. The two starred together in the 1994 gothic drama ‘Interview with the Vampire,’ but stories about tension on set between the duo have followed the movie for years. Pitt later suggested they just did not get along as people.

You gotta understand, Tom and I are… we walk in different directions,” Pitt explained. “He’s North Pole, I’m South. He’s always coming at you with a handshake, whereas I may bump into you.” Pitt also said there was a sense of competition that “got in the way of any real conversation.” Still, he gave Cruise credit for his talent and commitment to the role. They have not made a movie together since.

Another possible name is Harrison Ford. They worked together on the 1997 film ‘The Devil’s Own,’ but the production had a lot of creative disagreements. Pitt reportedly worked on a script that Ford later rewrote. Ford also pushed for a different director. Pitt did not hold back about the movie itself. He called it “the most irresponsible bit of filmmaking, if you can even call it that, that I’ve ever seen.” But he did not put all the blame on Ford. “He’s absolutely cool,” Pitt later said, adding that the project was just difficult for everyone.

Even though Pitt has cleared up some rumors about feuds, Taylor-Johnson’s story shows an actor who is entering a new phase of life. He seems careful about how he spends his time and energy. In a business where a movie can take months to shoot, Pitt appears set on making sure that time is spent with people who want to enjoy the work as much as he does.
