However, after a year, Sam filed for divorce from Britney in July 2023 and later made the news official through Instagram. While the ex-couple maintains an amicable relationship, Spears is feeling weird about being single after the divorce.

Britney Spears Reveals She Is Not Talking Nicely To Herself After The Divorce
Sam Asghari, after 14 months of marriage, filed for divorce in California due to irreconcilable differences between Britney Spears and him. They were together for six years, and after Asghari made the divorce news official, Britney said that it shocked her. After four months of attaining singlehood again, Spears has revealed that it is making her feel weird.
Britney Spears made a post on Instagram talking about being single. Spears wrote, “It’s so weird being single. I’ve realised I don’t talk to myself that nicely at all. I’m easily manipulated and wear heart on my sleeve, but I’m definitely changing all of that.”
Britney continued, “I have to make time to stop and look around to re-evaluate myself and say is this good for me ??? I like a routine and I usually do the same thing every day….”
Spears added, “I’m honestly bored but I’m also scared of a lot of things … The way I live my life is mine … I’ve had so many people interfere with that … But to know it’s ok to be selfish with my life and enjoy it is amazing !!!”

Sam Asghari Praised His Ex-Wife After She Released Her Memoir
Britney Spears was finally freed when she released her memoir, ‘The Woman In Me’. For the longest time, Britney’s narrative was dominated by the media, which ran negative stories about the artist to bring her down. But the songstress has now claimed her story and told it in the most vulnerable manner. On the heels of the release of the memoir, Sam Asghari praised the singer.
In an interview with TMZ, Sam Asghari was asked if he was excited about the memoir. In response, Sam said, “No, I already read it. I’m very proud of her. She put a lot of work to it, and it was very hard. I’m definitely excited and I’m extremely proud of her. It was a really tough one.”
In ‘The Woman In Me’, Britney Spears wrote about how Sam Asghari is a gift from god. She wrote, “I have an appreciation for how stable he is. I love that he doesn’t drink. He’s a gift from God.” The model reacted to the kind mention, telling TMZ, “That made me smile to be honest. I’m freaking proud of her. I hope she takes over the world.”
