OMG! Doja Cat Went Through A Tonsil Surgery?
Doja Cat has backed out from performing with The Weeknd on his summer stadium tour and on all future festival dates. The main reason is she had tonsil surgery. In her Instagram story she said “Hi guys, I wanted you to hear it from me first. Unfortunately, I have to have surgery on my tonsils ASAP. The surgery is routine but the recovery is going to take a while due to swelling. That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as The Weeknd tour. I feel horrible about this but can’t wait for this to heal and get back to making music and create an experience for y’all.”
On Twitter she wrote, “Dr. just had to cut into my left tonsil. I had an abscess in it. My whole throat is fucked so i might have some bad news for yall coming soon.” She continued, “I was taking fuckin antibiotics but forgot that i was taking them and then i drank wine and was vaping all day long and then i started getting a nasty ass growth on my tonsil so they had to do surgery on it today.” She also revealed how tough it’ll be for her to quit vaping.

Doja Cat Taking A Break After Continuously Working
Doja Cat is working really hard and relentlessly. She was appearing in back-to-back award shows and also had a mind-blowing performance at Coachella last month. The singer also released her third album “Planet Her”. She was already straining her voice and overworking herself. This tonsil surgery is giving her a chance to rest and take a break.
The tonsil situation is giving her a chance to take some time off until she comes back in full force.
