The Netflix show Bridgerton is based on Julia Quinn’s romance novels. It revolves around the very influential Bridgerton family, comprising eight siblings, and how they find their own path to love and adventure.
The show’s second season concluded recently and the news of starting production for Season 3 has already excited fans. But, it looks like Shondaland has yet another surprise for fans as a major character will be replaced.
New Face Of Francesca In ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3
Ruby Stokes essayed the role of Francesca in the ‘Bridgerton’ in seasons 1 and 2. But the actress already had signed a deal with Lockwood and Co. Therefore, she left the show to fulfill her previous obligation. She’ll be cast as the lead in the show.
“I love Francesca, but we lost her midway through Season 2,” Bridgerton creator and Seasons 1 and 2 showrunner Chris Van Dusen told TVLine in late March. “After exhausting all other options, she unfortunately had to come out due to reasons beyond our control.”
Finally, in December it was revealed that they’ll be recasting Francesca. The British actress and model Hannah Dodd, also known for her role in “Anatomy Of A Scandal” will play the role of Francesca in Bridgerton Season 3.
