Now, Travis’ father, Ed Kelce, has opened up about his future daughter-in-law, comparing Taylor to someone who already holds a special place in the Kelce family.
Ed Kelce Opens Up About Welcoming Taylor Swift Into The Family
Ed Kelce recently spoke about his son’s upcoming marriage during an interview with FOX 29 Philadelphia on June 24. The 75-year-old said he is thrilled that Taylor will soon officially join the Kelce family. “I am super excited,” Ed said. “She is a sweetheart.”
Ed also shared that Taylor reminds him of someone who has already become an important member of the family. Comparing her to Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, he said, “That is truly the girl next door. Just like Kylie.“
The comparison carries extra meaning because Kylie has long been admired by the Kelce family. Ed shares Travis and Jason with his ex-wife, Donna Kelce, and his latest comments suggest Taylor has fit into the family just as naturally.
The Kelce Family Is Keeping Wedding Plans Private
Although Ed was happy to talk about Taylor, he avoided discussing any details about the wedding itself. That has become a pattern for the entire Kelce family as Travis and Taylor continue to keep their plans out of the public eye.

Jason Kelce recently echoed that approach while speaking to reporters on June 24. When asked about the ceremony and the growing rumors surrounding it, he simply replied, “This is not our information to share.”
Even so, Jason admitted he is looking forward to celebrating with the couple. “I’m just very excited, very excited for my brother, obviously a big moment for him,” he said. “I’m very happy for both of them. Looking forward to celebrating with them.”
Ed has also been enjoying a happy chapter in his own life. In a June 21 Instagram post, he shared a photo with his date, Doree Hepner, writing, “With the dynamic and gorgeous Doree Hepner, at 118 North, listening to York Street Hustle: their Summer Soul(stice) show.” It is still unknown whether she will attend Travis and Taylor’s wedding.
For now, Ed Kelce’s heartfelt words about Taylor have offered fans one of the few personal updates amid the countdown to the couple’s big day.
