Henry Cavil Says He Would Be Perfect For The “Red Dead Redemption” TV Series
Men of Steel actor has very much expressed his interest to play a part in the “Red Dead Redemption 2.”
“I’ve just started playing Red Dead Redemption 2. I recognize I’m a bit late to it, but I’m really enjoying it, and so something like that would be great to make into a movie.”
The actor has already shown that he is quite capable to bring the character of Arthur Morgan to life.
Henry Cavill’s role as Geralt of Rivia in the Witcher has received critical acclaim. He has given assurance that he will be very much loved in another video game adaptation. Not only does Henry possess the ability to play the role of John Marson as well. He is similar physical features to John and his dark hair and his build make him a very suitable choice for the role.
Reactions Of The Stars Involved In The “Red Dead Redemption”
Ever since Henry Cavil gave the statement about his interest in the “Red Dead Redemption” games, his fellow actors have shared their views.
Mick Mellamphy, who plays Sean MacGuire in Red Dead Redemption 2, said, “Knowing that a star like Henry Cavill is a fan of our work is both humbling and extremely gratifying.” He then added, “He would make a very handsome Sean MacGuire I’m sure.”
Roger Clark who is the voice actor for Arthur Morgan has yet to give his views on Cavil’s statement. But he tweeted in late 2019, “What ya’ll thinking of #TheWitcher? I love Henry Cavill and Anya Chalotra.” So it seems like cavil has his approval as well.
Although there is no confirmation about a Red Dead Redemption 2 movie or series in the works, a video game adaptation is being considered.
