Taylor Swift’s beau and American football star Travis Kelce is unbothered about a little typo on his $40,000 Super Bowl ring. The Kansas City Chiefs player recently revealed his thoughts about the typo on his podcast ‘New Heights’. Well, if you are not that much into football, here’s all the details you need to know.
The Kansas City Chiefs team were presented with diamond and ruby-encrusted $40,000 rings on Thursday at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. This is to celebrate their 2024 Super Bowl win against the San Francisco 49ers. However, from the pictures posted by the players online, some fans have noticed a little typo on the chunky rings.
Travis Kelce Unbothered About Typo On His Ring
Travis Kelce, along with his other teammates, was presented with $40,000 ruby and diamond encrusted rings to celebrate their Super Bowl win. However, on the interior of the rings, which featured the seeding for Kansas City’s four postseason opponents, there was a small mistake. The Miami Dolphins were listed as the seventh seed instead of the sixth.
On their podcast, Travis Kelce and his brother Jason discussed this little typo. “One major little goof on the ring, Miami is listed as the seventh seed because it has all of the games you guys had to win to get there. Miami was actually the sixth seed. I guess that’s just the way the ring is. Like, nobody’s gonna… are you gonna get it fixed?” Jason said.

However, Travis Kelce replied non-chalantly, “I don’t give a s**t. I like it that we didn’t give a f**k about what seed Miami is.” He added, “They were the seventh. Who cares? They could’ve done no seeds on the side of them. I would’ve been fine.”
“I think it makes it more unique. Like, ‘Oh, yeah, we made it really detailed, and, oops, we screwed up,’” Kelce continued. He also added that it “makes it more exclusive. We screwed up about something that means nothing.”

Travis Kelce Chooses His Favorite Championship Ring
Jason Kelce also asked Travis to select his favorite championship ring out of the three he’s won with the Chiefs. “I mean, this one’s pretty damn cool,” said Travis referring to the recent one.
“This one has… it’s massive. It has, like, the shape of the oval of the football with just diamonds going around it.” He further said that the ring “feels like a championship ring when you look at it. It’s like, ‘Damn, that thing feels and looks like a championship ring.’” However, that ring was not his favorite after all.
“But I would probably say the one last year was my favorite one,” the NFL star said. He referred to the ring he got after the Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2023 Super Bowl.
“The top of the ring comes off and you can it has a clasp that you can wear it in different ways,” Travis added. He also added that he would like to wear the clasp as a necklace if he gets the occasion to.
