The recent clash between Sharon Stone and William Baldwin has taken Hollywood by storm as old wounds are reopened and accusations fly. The steamy argument between the two stems from their time together as co-stars in the 1993 film, ‘Silver‘.
The 66-year-old actress has claimed that late movie producer Robert Evans had suggested that she have sex with Baldwin to enhance his performance in their film. Sharon Stone made the remarks recently while speaking on a podcast, and shook the entertainment industry. However, William Baldwin has come out in defense, claiming her allegations to be untrue.
“Does She Still Have A Crush On Me?”: William Baldwin Claps Back At Sharon Stone’s Claims
Just a day after Sharon Stone’s comments took internet by the storm, William Baldwin took to social media to fire back at her. In his retort, Baldwin questioned Stone’s motives, suggesting that she might still have feelings for him or nurse past grievances.
“Not sure why Sharon Stone keeps talking about me all these years later?” he tweeted. “Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances? I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I’ve kept quiet,” he added.
His social media outburst followed Stone’s appearance on The Louis Theroux Podcast, where she detailed the alleged encounter with director Evans. Stone described Evans as attempting to convince her to have sex with Baldwin to elevate their on-screen chemistry.
“[Evans was] running around his office in his sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin,” she said. “Because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better. And we needed Billy to get better in the movie, because that was the problem. And if I could sleep with Billy, then we would have chemistry on screen, and if I would just have sex with him, then that would save the movie,” she said on the podcast.

Sharon Stone Has Made Similar Claims In The Past
This revelation isn’t entirely new, as Stone had previously mentioned a similar incident in her 2021 memoir, ‘The Beauty of Living Twice’. In the book, she described being a producer who suggested she sleep with a male co-star to improve their on-screen dynamic.
“He explained to me why I should f— my costar so that we could have onscreen chemistry,” she wrote. “Why, in his day, he made love to Ava Gardner onscreen and it was so sensational! Now just the creepy thought of him in the same room with Ava Gardner gave me pause,” she added, labeling it “difficult” after telling the producer off.
Baldwin, however, countered Stone’s narrative by claiming that a third party had witnessed her purported advances towards him. He referenced an alleged conversation Stone had with model Janice Dickinson, claiming that Stone had boasted about her intentions to entice him.
“Did she say to her gal pal Janice Dickinson the day after I screen tested and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York… ‘I’m gonna make him fall so hard for me, it’s gonna make his head spin.’ ???” he wrote.
Dickinson, however refuted the claim, stating that she had never heard such remarks from Stone. While Dickinson refrained from commenting further on the matter, Baldwin’s attempt to involve her in the dispute adds another layer of complexity to the unfolding drama.
“As I recall Sharon never said that to me. I am not sure why Billy Baldwin is bringing this up. I adore them both but that never happened,” Dickinson told the Daily Mail.
