Hollywood has no shortage of power couples that share a delightful chemistry both on and off-screen. Chris Pratt is seemingly trying to get himself and his wonderful wife Katherine Schwarzenegger on the list as he recently clarified during the promotion of his latest film.
With his wife by his side, Pratt graced the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of Sony’s new animated ‘The Garfield Movie‘ on Sunday. Pratt lends his voice to the beloved lasagna-loving cat Garfield in the film, thus assuming a pivotal role therein. His wife was also seen supporting him at the event at the TCL Chinese Theatre, while the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star made the best of the opportunity to pitch his wife as a “great” actress. Chris Pratt Pitches In His Wife As A “Great” Person To Act
Chris Pratt was speaking during an interview on the red carpet during the promotion of his latest film ‘The Garfield‘ when he revealed his desire to work with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger on a future project. He also confessed to having talked about it to her already.
“I’ve asked her,” Pratt said when asked about the possibility of their on-screen presence. “I think she could be great. Because she’s actually a very good actress. When she’s doing impressions and I’m like, ‘You’re really good.’ And she’s like, ‘No way. I could never do it. I would laugh too much.'”
The couple has been married since 2019, and are parents to two daughters, Lyla Maria and Eloise Christina. Pratt also shares an 11-year-old son, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Faris.

Chris Pratt Is Excited About His Kids Getting To See His Upcoming Film ‘The Garfield Movie’
Speaking about his upcoming film ‘The Garfield Movie‘, Chris Pratt said he is thrilled to think that his kids will be able to enjoy the film as well. “A movie like Garfield, it’s truly safe for all ages, and my daughters are both very young. My son’s 11, so he’s seen a lot of the things that I’m in, but my girls have never seen anything I’ve been in, so this will probably be the first thing that they see,” he said during the red carpet interview.
Pratt’s co-stars Hannah Waddingham, Cecily Strong, Snoop Dogg, and Calum Scott also joined him on the red carpet. The movie’s synopsis reads: “After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father — scruffy street cat Vic (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) — Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.”
This is not the first time that Pratt has taken up a voicing role. About a year ago, he also voiced video game icon Mario in 2023’s ‘The Super Mario Bros.‘ Movie, which grossed over $1 billion worldwide. ‘The Garfield Movie’ is set to hit theaters on May 24.
