A recent Instagram post by Michelle, featuring a photo with ‘Spy Kids‘ star Alexa PenaVega, triggered comments by fans expressing worry about her well-being. Responding to a user who suggested she looked sick, the ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer‘ star shot back.
She wrote, “Explain to me how I look sick. Did you lose a calendar and not realize I’m not 14. I’m 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment.”
The user then replied, “No disrespect my comment was really not to hurt u. I look up to u. It has nothing to do with ur age. I just find that u look pale and sick. Sorry if i offended u it was not my attention.”
Pretty cruel reply to a comment just asking about your well-being but we understand how the narrative took a negative turn. It looked like fans were not showing concern for the actress but commenting on her appearance.

As more comments poured in, questioning her appearance and health, Trachtenberg posted another selfie with a new ombré hairstyle. She addressed the speculation, stating, “I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance. I have never had plastic surgery. I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters.”
Despite the actress asking to not comment on her appearance and clearing that she’s well, some fans still kept poking. She also had to fan advocating for her privacy with “Guys for real. Bluntly asking things like ‘what’s wrong with you?’ Or making on the spot diagnoses or conclusions.”
In an additional selfie shared by Michelle shared January 19, one fan wrote, “If she’s dealing with something, she’s dealing. We’re not family or friends. We’re fans. Calm down. Don’t be rude.”
The selfie in question had the sassy response for all those speculating, “Fun fact. This is my face. Not malnutrition, no problems. Why do you have to hate? Get a calendar.”
