Taylor Swift just announced her version of 1989 will be coming out this October, and fans are all hyped up. The re-recorded album will include 21 songs, five of which are previously unheard vault tracks. The original 1989 album, released nine years ago on October 27, 2014, was an instant success thanks to fan favorites including Blank Space, Wildest Dreams, and Shake it Off.
Fans are now making theories on what might come with the surprise tracks of the album- and most importantly, who will feature on the album. Now, among other predictions, Nicki Minaj has dropped some subtle hints that she might be featured in 1989 (Taylor’s Version). Are we finally getting Bad Blood Ft. Nicki Minaj?

Taylor Swift’s Friendship With Nicki Minaj
On February 3, 2011, a radio host asked Taylor to choose a song, and she requested that Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” be played. Following that, the song became viral, garnering a large number of downloads and radio requests. Swift also rapped “Super Bass” on her Speak Now World Tour, surprising her fans and bringing Minaj on stage.
Speaking of how Taylor helped the song get popularity, Nicki said: “Taylor started this ‘Super Bass’ frenzy,” (referring to the high recognition that Taylor gave to the song), “and I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart. I love you dearly.”
They have been seen together at different award shows since then. Minaj complimented Swift during the 2011 American Music Awards for her role in the song’s popularity. She said: “Well, I have to thank her because if it wasn’t for her just being open and honest about a new song she liked, no one would know… her fan base would not have known about ‘Super Bass’.”
To which Taylor responded by saying: “I love her so much. She is one of the most authentic people I have ever known and that comes across in her music. I was so happy when I opened the envelope and it was her name.”
