Taylor Swift‘s mention barely escapes a conversation that involves Travis Kelce these days. While the couple has become an absolute fan favorite over the months, Travis’s brother Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce have become quite the celebrities themselves.
Recently, Jason Kelce has seemingly endorsed a joke that a fan made in the context of Taylor Swift’s cats and Travis Kelce’s torn jeans. The NFL star couldn’t resist poking fun at his brother Travis Kelce’s latest fashion statement, especially when it provided the perfect setup for a cat joke. Here’s what happened.
Travis Kelce Supports A Swiftie Joke About Travis Kelce And His Torn Jeans
Travis Kelce recently showed up to an NBA Playoffs game on Sunday, wearing jeans with an astonishing number of rips. While his bold style was appreciated by many, his choice caught the attention of a fan of Travis’s cat-loving girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
The fan, @thisisvertrying, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a photo of the ripped jeans and joked in the caption, “What the f— did Taylor’s cats do with his jeans?” in reference to Swift’s three beloved cats.
Jason Kelce spotted the joke and found it hilarious. He reposted it with his own comment: “Now that’s funny!”
Swift is a known cat enthusiast and has three cats, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. Her popular felines have appeared with her on the 2023 cover of TIME’s Person of the Year issue, as well as in music videos for songs like ‘Blank Space’, ‘ME!‘, and ‘Karma’.

Travis Kelce’s Torn Jeans Was The Highlight At Dallas Event
Travis Kelce’s fashion choice became a sensation at the courtside during the Western Conference Finals Game 3 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Travis paired his tattered jeans with sunglasses that matched the large red apple on his white T-shirt.
He enjoyed the game with Kansas City Chiefs teammates Marquise Brown and Patrick Mahomes, as well as his wife, Brittany Mahomes. Taylor Swift was not present at the event.
While Swift hasn’t publicly reacted to the ripped jeans joke, she recently performed songs speculated to be about Travis during her Eras Tour. At her fourth and final Paris show on May 12, Swift performed ‘So High School‘ for the first time on tour, with Travis in attendance. ‘You know how to ball, I know Aristotle,” she sang.
