Jay-Z And Beyoncé Purchase A $200 Million Mega-Mansion They’ll Most Probably Never Live In

Jay-Z and Beyoncé are living the high life. The ‘Izzo’ and ‘Run The World (Girls)’ hit makers splurged $200 million for their new domicile. The power couple now has the honor of purchasing the most expensive real estate in the history of California. The couple, married in 2008, brought the house from art collector William Bell Jr.

Originally priced at $295 million, they got the house at an incredible deal with millions shaved off. This new place of residence in Malibu has excellent indoor and outdoor features. But with a couple having super-busy lives and their kids happily living in their Bel-Air residence, will the couple find the time to move into their new digs?

Jay-Z And Beyoncé’s New California Residence

Jay-Z and Beyoncé have purchased a new property for a jaw-dropping $200 million. They are now the honors of the most expensive home in California and the second most expensive in the United States. TMZ reports that the couple’s new 40,000-square-foot mansion previously belonged to art collector William Bell Jr.

Tadao Ando designed the house, and it comes with Bell’s private art collection. The entire house is concrete and has a water feature and a pool. 15 years in the making, this house is located at the top of Malibu Hills. It overlooks the Pacific Ocean in the exclusive Paradise Cove enclave.

Jay-Z And Beyoncé own personal and collective properties.

Currently, Jay-Z and Beyoncé live in their Bel-Air, California residence with their children. This $90 million mansion has four pools, a basketball court, 15 garages, bulletproof windows, and a recording studio. It’s made from steel, glass, and exquisite marbled limestone and has a personalized baseball court. The family has great memories in this house. Given the length of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, moving out immediately isn’t practical.

The couple will probably sublet or sell the new California house after a while. Perhaps the couple will move with the children in the indefinite future. In addition to their real estate purchase, Beyoncé owns a $2.5 million mansion in New Orleans. She also spent $25,925,000 on another residence, her East Hamptons home. Jay-Z spent $6.85 million long before the marriage on a palatial Tribeca penthouse. In 2007, he rented a 4,825-square-foot condo for a monthly rent of $40,000.
