However, keeping secrets in Hollywood is rarely easy. On May 16, photographers caught the pair attempting to hide their faces while riding in an SUV through Los Angeles. The effort only fueled speculation further. Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, were also in the vehicle after what sources described as a double date.
The reason behind the secrecy appears simple. After highly publicized relationships with Bad Bunny and Devin Booker ended, Jenner reportedly wanted a different experience this time around.

Sources say Jenner was keeping a low profile at the Coachella afterparty where sparks first flew. One insider described her as “super chill, super to herself and laid back,” although Elordi clearly made an impression. The source admitted they did not know who made the first move.
“As long as he’s not like his character in ‘Euphoria,’ I’m happy for her,” the second source joked, referring to Elordi’s angry, psychotic jock, Nate Jacobs, from the HBO show.
Those close to the actor insist the real-life Elordi is nothing like the troubled characters he plays on screen. Instead, they describe him as charming, grounded, and easygoing.
