Momoa and his wife Lisa Bonet have been in rough waters with their relationship for the past 2 years, and have now finally decided to make it official.

‘Aquaman‘ fame Jason Momoa and his wife Lisa Bonet are officially ending their marriage, as revealed in court documents obtained by People. The ‘Ray Donovan’ actress filed for divorce from Jason Momoa citing irreconcilable differences.
The announcement comes two years after the couple publicly announced their breakup. At the time, Bonet has also listed the date date of their separation as October 7, 2020.
The court documents of the divorce obtained by People further revealed that Bonet has requested joint custody of their children and has opted for no spousal support on either side. Representatives for either of the celebrities are yet to respond to the news of their divorce.
The two met for the first time at a jazz club in 2005 and soon entered a relationship. After spending a long time with each other, the couple decided to tie the knot in an intimate California ceremony in 2017. They have two children — a 16-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son. Bonet is also the mother of ‘Batman‘ actress Zoë Kravitz, from her previous marriage to Lenny Kravitz.

The Couple Had Broken Up 2 Years Ago
Five years after the marriage, Bonet and Momoa announced their separation in a now-deleted social media post. “A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage,” the post said.
“We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty. The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become.”
Amid rumors of the two rekindling their romance in 2022, Momoa was quick to clarify that thet are “not back together“. “We’re family… We have two beautiful children together,” he said.
