Sean Diddy Combs has been the talk of the town for quite a few months now because of the multiple sexual allegations made against him, including by his own ex-partner. Though the singer has time and again denied all the claims, more allegations have come forward over time.
The legal brawl has also cost him several projects as many brands have decided to lose him as their ambassador. While the Combs has stood his ground, and disagreed to all the allegations made against him, a new shocking video of him hitting his girlfriend Cassie Ventura has come to light, adding fuel to the fire. Here’s how the industry, including Ventura’s husband are reacting.
“Death Would Be Considered Kindness”: Cassie Ventura’s Husband Alex Fine Pens Long Instagram Post
Many stars, including Cassie Ventura’s husband, have spoken up against Sean Diddy Combs after the footage of him assaulting her came forward and took internet by the storm. After the footage from 2016 was released by CNN, Cassie Ventura’s husband Alex Fine has reacted in a lengthy letter on Instagram.
In the caption of the post, he noted that though he had written it “awhile back,” the “words ring true not just today but everyday.” He also included a number for a domestic violence hotline in the caption.
At the beginning of his letter, he addressed women and children. “Men who hit women aren’t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men. As men, violence against women shouldn’t be inevitable. Check your brothers, your friends, and your family. Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved. Hold the women in your life with the upmost regard.”
Further expanding his note for the abusers, he says, “To the abusers, you’re done, you’re not safe anymore, you’re not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak, you’re so miserable with yourself that death would be considered a kindness.”
Other than him, several stars including 50 Cent and Emily Ratajkowski spoke up in support of Sean Diddy Combs. 50 Cent took to his social media to voice his concerns soon after the video surfaced.
“Now I’m sure puffy didn’t do it, he is innocent this proves nothing ! This is what his lawyers are gonna say, God help us all,” he wrote in the post, and also reposted a statement published by Diddy in December 2023.
“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday,” Diddy had written in the statement.
The CCTV footage clearly shows Sean Diddy Combs brutally hitting his girlfriend at the time Cassie Ventura in what appears to be a hotel. Obtained by CNN, the video clip shows Diddy assaulting his girlfriend from several angles.
It falls in line with allegations made by Ventura against Diddy, wherein she had filed a lawsuit mentioning sex trafficking, rape and physical abuse against the hip hop mogul in November last year. The video is dated March 5, 2016, which further checks out the authenticity of claims by Ventura.
Though the lawsuit was filed, it was taken back just a day later after the two parties settled it. However, the video that has now emerged have raised new questions against the singer.

Sean Diddy Combs Seen Ruthlessly Hitting Girlfriend Cassie Ventura In Old CCTV footage
In the 2016 footage that has gained heavy attention across the internet, Cassie Ventura and Sean Diddy Combs appear to be near an elevator of a hotel, which has now been confirmed to be Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles. Notably, the hotel has been shut down.
In the video, Ventura is seen with a black sweater with hood up, carrying a duffle bag in hand. As she tries to call an elevator to leave, Diddy catches up with her. From another camera angle, he’s seen following her in a bath towel in the hotel passageway.
As he catches up with her, the hip-hop mogul starts striking and yanking her by her hair and throws her to the ground. He then kicks her with his legs twice as she lies injured on the ground.
He takes the duffle bag away from her and drags her to the hotel room he emerged from. He then lets her go after saying something, and walks back to the hotel room.
There are other clips in the video, showing Combs getting aggressive and hitting with a glass vase. Similar allegations were made during a lawsuit which was settled just a day later. It also claimed that Diddy paid $50,000 to the hotel for the footage.
It is now to be seen what legal turn the case against Diddy takes as legal representatives of Ventura have already come forward to reiterate their claims.
