Met Gala is boring without our beloved Rihanna. The museum and the fashion magazine collaborated on a brilliant concept to pay tribute to the celebrity. They have done so by transforming her recent photoshoot with Vogue into a magnificent marble statue.

Given the theme of Gilded Glamour this year, the monument was created to honor not only RiRi but also Eirene. Eirene is the Greek goddess of peace. Vogue took it upon itself to unveil the statue of this legendary singer. They even posted a video on various social media platforms of the same.
In one of the captions, Vogue shared that Eirene who is nothing but a personification of peace is mostly regarded as the best marble goddess. That too in the Met Museum’s Greco-Roman galleries, it is one of the most famous ones. Vogues shares that they have taken inspiration from RiRi’s Vogue Cover! The photo they chose as inspiration is absolutely noteworthy. Since Rihanna reveals in the article that she is the face of maternity fashion. However, this comment brought in a lot of criticism from many conservatives.

Rihanna’s View On Her Pregnancy
RiRi shared how she was feeling during her pregnancy. She talks about how her body is changing and how is it making her proud and not embarrassed. RiRi also shares that she completely enjoying and celebrating it! She shares that there is nothing to hide about pregnancy or to be ashamed of it.
When it came to Rihanna’s reaction to the homage, she went all out, praising both teams for their honorable gesture. She in her caption shares that being captured in marble is in the real sense gilded and she is very grateful to both organizations for the tribute.
