“Why You Acting Like You Don’t Know This…”: Miley Cyrus Wrecks The Silence Of Dull Crowd At Grammys

There are a lot of words to describe Disney’s Superstar Miley Cyrus but silent is not one of them. Neither does the singer wielding the powerful voice prefer it while she’s holding the mic. And she was holding more than just the mic at this year’s Grammys.

31-year-old Miley broke the charts with her album single ‘Flowers’ and it’s finally time to pluck the honors for it. The singer-songwriter had never won a Grammy despite many nominations but that streak ends from this year on.

Taking over the stage with her blend of rock and pop, Miley made a statement at the 2024 Grammy Awards, and it wasn’t just through her music. In a bold moment, she interrupted her performance of the song ‘Flowers’, raising the volume on the party in the U.S.A.Miley noticed the audience’s lack of enthusiasm at Crypto.com arena as they were not participating in any of the performances by any celebrity. Unlike other performers, Miley didn’t let it slide and was quick to call out the dull audience in her signature style.

Singing the lyrics “I can buy myself flowers / Write my name in the sand,” Without holding back, she quipped into the mic, “Why you acting like you don’t know this song?” The call-out prompted some A-listers like Taylor Swift, Kelsea Ballerini, and Chrissy Teigen to shake off the boredom, breaking into dance and singing along.
