Nicola Beckham Wishes She Did Not Have To Miss Victoria Beckham’s Birthday Party
Nicola Beckham has cleared the air around her absence and had a perfectly good reason for missing out on her mother-in-law’s birthday party. Nicola revealed that she was spending quality time with her grandmother and was therefore unable to mark her presence at the birthday bash.
In a series of Instagram Story posts, the 29-year-old model shared an explanation for her absence. She first posted a picture with her grandma, followed by a photo of the Beckham clan explaining her absence. “Happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham. I’m so sad I’m not there to celebrate you and hug you,” Nicola wrote in one of her posts, highlighting that she wishes she could join her family in the celebration.
Just a week before that, she wished Victoria her birthday in another post. “happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham i love you so much and love being your dance partner forever,” she wrote alongside a picture of her and Victoria sharing a sweet hug.
Nicola, who tied the knot with Brooklyn in 2022, is close to his mother Victoria. Though there have been rumors about some underlying tension between the two, the duo has quashed the rumors with Nicola even joining the Beckham family for Easter celebrations. Victoria Beckham has even extended her support for her daughter-in-law openly at the premiere of Nicola’s film, ‘Lola‘.
