Kaley Cuoco Pays Surprise Visit To Former Co-Star Jim Parsons
Kaley Cuoco surprised her ‘The Big Bang Theory‘ co-star Jim Parsons on Saturday, backstage during the actor’s Broadway production of ‘Our Town‘ in New York City. Sharing the moment with the fans through her Instagram Stories, Cuoco posted a photo of the pair embracing under the staircase.
“Go see Jim Parsons in @ourtownbroadway! It is beyond! I surprised him ????” she captioned the added picture, adding an apt GIF that read, “Reunited.”
Though ‘The Big Bang Theory‘ ended its 12-season run back in 2019, the cast has stayed close over the years, often popping up together at casual reunions or in TV appearances. Recently, ‘Night Court‘ fans were treated to a mini-reunion when Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch appeared on-screen together for season 3 of the show.
Bialik and Parsons also made it to the ‘Young Sheldon‘ series finale, a spin-off chronicling the early life of Parsons’ Sheldon Cooper character.
Jim Parsons Has Trashed Any Possibilities Of The Show’s Reboot
While fans have been clamoring for a full-blown reboot of ‘The Big Bang Theory‘, Parsons recently expressed hesitation about reviving the show. “As we sit here now, no, but I also I never say never to anything,” Parsons said during an appearance on ‘Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace‘. He explained that the show was “lightning in a bottle,” and doubted they could recapture that magic.

On the other hand, Cuoco has been more open to reprising her role as Penny, as she told ‘PEOPLE‘ last month that she would “100%” play the quirky character again. “I spent 12 years playing that role, and it really set off my career,” she said, expressing her love and gratitude for the show and creator Chuck Lorre.
While there’s apparently no new reboot on the horizon, the show has spin-offs such as ‘Young Sheldon‘ and the very recent launch of ‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage‘.
