    Paramount Pictures is working on remaking the film ‘Vertigo.’ Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, it stars James Stewart as John Ferguson, a detective hired by his old friend to investigate Madeleine Elster (Kim Novak), the latter’s wife. While following her around, Ferguson becomes obsessed with the mysterious blonde beauty.

    While a case of tampering with a classic film is to be made, the talent behind the remake is undeniable. Robert Downey Jr. will essay James Stewart’s part if things fall into place. Steven Knight, the British screenwriter behind the successful Netflix series ‘Peaky Blinders‘ is writing the screenplay.

    Tropic Thunder‘ was the last time we saw Robert Downey Jr. in a full-fledged comedic role. Adam Mckay’s upcoming project sees Downey Jr. returning to tickle our funny bone. According to Deadline, the 57-year-old actor will star in ‘Vice‘ and ‘Don’t Look Up‘ filmmaker’s next project. Also starring Robert Pattinson and Amy Adams, it will go into production this year.

    The premise of ‘Average Height, Average Build‘ brings politics and comedy together. The film is about a killer who uses political lobbyists to change laws to make it easier for him to kill. Robert Pattinson plays the killer, and Amy Adams will be the lobbyist assisting Pattinson. Robert Downey Jr. will be a retired cop who won’t rest until he finds the responsible culprit.
