Sean Diddy Combs Ordered To Pay $100 Million In Another Sexual Assault Verdict

Sean Diddy Combs is having the worst year of his life with multiple sexual assault cases pressed against him, including one from his ex-partner. Even though he has continuously denied all the claims, the cases keep on coming, also majorly affecting his career and finances.

In the latest legal setback, the singer has been ordered to pay $100 million in a default sexual-assault judgment. The lawsuit goes back to 1997 when he allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted Cardello-Smith at a party.

According to Detroit’s Metro Times and court documents, the Lenawee County Circuit Court Judge, Derrick Lee Cardello declared a punishment of $100 Million against Sean Diddy Combs, describing the rapper as the “Michigan inmate known for his long history of challenging the judicial system with civil lawsuits.”

The lawsuit claims that he drugged and assaulted him at a part in 1997 and the judge set out a payment for it of $10 million per month starting from October 1. Cardello Smith encountered Diddy when he was working at a Detroit-area restaurant. The two met a group of women there and were having sex with them when Cardello said that he felt a touch of a man who he claims to be Diddy.

Sean Diddy later offered him a drink due to which he passed out and as soon as he woke up, he saw Diddy having sex with a woman; and said to him, “I did this to you too.” Moreover, the default judgment was made after Combs failed to appear for his virtual hearing on Monday.

Marc Agnifilo, an attorney of Sean Diddy Combs, disputed the judgment on Cardello-Smith’s account. He said, “This man is a convicted felon and sexual predator, who has been sentenced on 14 counts of sexual assault and kidnapping over the last 26 years. His resume now includes committing a fraud on the court from prison, as Mr. Combs has never heard of him let alone been served with any lawsuit. Mr. Combs looks forward to having this judgment swiftly dismissed.”

Moreover, a source close to the situation told Variety that the paperwork suit was sent to the wrong address and Sean Diddy failed to receive it promptly.

According to Metro Times, Cardello-Smith, who is serving an unrelated sentence is himself a student of civil and crime statutes. He also claims that Sean Diddy Combs offered him $2.3 million in August to dismiss the lawsuit or else he would proceed with legal action. Combs allegedly responded, “You know how we get down”; Cardello-Smith said he replied, “I disagree with how you get down.”

While Combs has continuously denied all the sexual allegations against him, he admitted assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura after a video leak in 2016 and said he was “f**ked up”.
