As Kim Kardashian walked on the stage for Netflix’s special live event ‘The Roast Of Tom Hardy‘, the crowd did not offer her a warm welcome. The reality TV star was met with loud boos from the audience at the Kia Forum.
However, not losing heart at the negative response, Kim Kardashian tried to handle the situation with grace. After being called on stage by the host of the show Kevin Hart, Kardashian tried to lighten the mood even though the boos from the audience kept growing louder. “Alright, alright, alright,” she said responding to the very obvious less-than-enthusiastic reception.

As Kevin Hart intervened, exclaiming, “Whoa! Whoa!”, the audience seemed to mellow down with their negative reaction. An unfazed Kardashian then tried to take the situation lightly with some jokes about her presence there, while giving a toast.
“I’m really here tonight for Tom. I wasn’t going to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I might,” she said.

Kim Kardashian Says Tom Hardy Resembles Her Step Dad Caitlyn Jenner
Kim Kardashian has a penchant for getting mired in controversies, and the Tom Brady roast event was no exception. Soon after she took over the dais and finally managed to get the crowd to listen to her, Kim dropped a bombshell by comparing Brady with her stepdad, Caitlyn Jenner.
While jokingly addressing the long-ongoing rumors about a romantic relationship between Tom Brady and herself, Kim Kardashian said, “I do know it would’ve never worked out. An ex-athlete, high cheekbones, silky hair… You remind me too much of my stepdad now.”
As she made this comment, a meme, “the evolution of Tom Brady” appeared on screen, showing Brady’s physically transforming into Kim’s stepdad.
Continuing her toast, Kim also suggested that Brady might want to take fashion tips from her, especially after his departure from the NFL. “Part of me thinks you would want to entrust me just to try on my clothes. I know the transition from the NFL must’ve been really hard, but I think my stepdad is a great example for you,” she jokingly said, further quipping that Brady can become anything right from a politician to a woman — just like her stepdad did.
Ending her toast on a rather controversial note, Kardashian made a joke about O.J. Simpson. “Honestly, it’s hard for me to watch people roast you. But I think enough of my family members have helped defend former football players,” she said.
